The Paediatric Awards For Trainee Achievements (PAFTAs) was developed in the Wessex region to recognise amazing work of paediatric trainees, consultants and supervisors. The PAFTAs have been widely praised for their role in supporting trainee morale and have spread far beyond Wessex. The RCPCH held their first national PAFTAs at the Annual Conference in 2017, and this is likely to become a permanent fixture for years to come.
