​PREP 2/3 (ST2 and ST3 Trainees)

​The PREP 2/3 programme expands upon PREP 1.1 and aims to prepare trainees for taking the next step to becoming registrars.  The day is planned and organised by the Trainee Leads, Jessica, Brooke, Georgina & Jess. Teaching is held on the second Tuesday of every month. 

Each month has a paediatric sub-speciality theme and runs on a two year rolling programme. The days are a mixture of interactive lectures, round table discussions and structured simulation sessions.  Speakers range from sub-speciality tertiary consultants to general paediatricians, registrars and allied health and social care professionals.

Attendance
The attendance list is sent to the Deanery and apologies are to be sent in advance to [email protected] if for any reason you cannot attend. Where possible, please do so at least a week in advance and via email (e.g. rota clashes). If short notice (emergency/sickness) please let a colleague know and follow up with an email as above for formal record.

Please note that attendance is monitored and is reviewed at ARCP. If you have any questions or concerns about your attendance, please contact Dr Hawkins as soon as possible.
