​PREP 1 (ST1 Trainees)

​The PREP 1 programme aims to give ST1 trainees a firm grounding in paediatrics. It covers core clinical skills as highlighted by the RCPCH and prepares ST1s to conquer the RCPCH examinations.

The teaching days are organised by the consultant leads and are held in-person on the first Tuesday of every month.

  • Charlene Murray (Education Administrator & PA, QAH)

​The attendance list is sent to the Deanery and apologies are to be sent in advance to Charlene Murray if for any reason you cannot attend.

​It is expected that all days are attended in-person. Please send you apologies to Charlene Murray if you are unwell or on nights. Sessions are no longer routinely recorded via Teams or Zoom. We will endeavour to share all slides from the days with you via email and upload to the Prep 1 resources section after the event. A QR code for feedback will be provided at the end of each session and we would be grateful if you could complete this at the end of the day so that we can learn and improve the content for the future.​
