Surgical Pre Assessment Course

Aimed at practitioners across the South West and Thames Valley & Wessex with an interest in paediatric pre-assessment. The course is delivered over 3 virtual taught study days. Attendance to all 3 of the study days is compulsory, and assessment is carried out through completion of a competency document.

The course is free to attend and will be delivered virtually over three dates via Teams.  The dates are:
  • Tuesday 1st October 2024
  • Tuesday 8st October 2024
  • Tuesday 15st October 2024

Surgery in Children Nurse Study Day

Surgery in Children ODN Engagement Day

Time - 0900 - 1700hrs
Location - The Apollo Hotel, Hampshire
Following on from last year's Engagement Event 'Addressing Children’s Surgical Waiting Lists in Thames Valley & Wessex'. This year we will explore opportunities for efficiency from referral to discharge by hearing from both National and Local speakers on initiatives being implemented across the pathway to improve efficiencies.

We are thrilled to once again have Professor Simon Kenny OBE joining us as Keynote speaker.
