28th September - Network Forum Meeting

Come and join us for our launch meeting. Hear about what we are hoping we can all achieve together and how we can support one another to deliver high quality, compassionate, palliative and end of life care for children and young adults. We have a local paediatrician presenting a case with the parent of a child who died peacefully last year.  Elisa’s case demonstrates beautifully how important an integrated approach to palliative care is for children with life limiting conditions. We will also be delivering some training on pain assessment in children with complex needs.

22nd November - Advanced Care Planning and the New Version 5 CYACP Training Day

Cost - £25 per person

This training day will be an opportunity to explore the new version 5 of the Children and Young People’s Advance Care Plan and learn how to plan for the future where that future is uncertain and the ‘right’ answers or path aren’t clear. Learn how to respond to difficult questions and how to use the advance care planning process to support your patients, teams, and help achieve care that is best for the child or young adult, in the right place, at the right time, by the right team.
