The Paediatric Awards For Trainee Achievements (PAFTAs) was developed in the Wessex region to recognise amazing work of paediatric trainees, consultants and supervisors. The PAFTAs have been widely praised for their role in supporting trainee morale and have spread far beyond Wessex. The RCPCH held their first national PAFTAs at the Annual Conference in 2017, and this is likely to become a permanent fixture for years to come.
This year the PAFTA celebrations will be taking place from 6:30pm on Monday 15th October 2018 at the Dancing Man Brewery in Southampton (SO14 2AR), following on from Day 1 of the PIER Conference at the Grand Harbour Hotel just around the corner. There will be a buffet meal from 7:30pm and awards will be presented from 8:30pm. Tickets for the PAFTAs are £10. These tickets are available as an 'add-on' when buying a PIER Conference ticket. If you would like to come to the PAFTA Celebration without attending the Conference, or are attending the Conference but forgot to buy a PAFTA ticket, you can purchase a ticket below.
